A note on pricing

Our cremation services are now fully included in the package price. You'll pay one price to us — no separate bill from a cremation provider.

Why do some packages say "plus tax"?

Wisconsin charges state sales tax on cremation services and on home-burial euthanasia. The combined Wisconsin + Chippewa County rate is 5.5%. Communal cremation and end-of-life consultations are not taxed.

In plain numbers:

  • Private cremation package ($599): tax applies only to the $199 cremation portion — about $11 in tax, so a final total near $609.95.
  • Home burial package ($360): the state taxes the full amount. Tax is $19.80, for a final total of $379.80.
  • Communal cremation ($499): no tax. You pay $499.
  • End-of-life consultation ($175): no tax. You pay $175.
  • Pickup & cremation: we'll walk you through the numbers on the phone based on your situation.

We'll line it all out for you when you book.

What about very large dogs?

For extra-large dogs, we add a small $30 fee — the visit just takes more of us physically. We'll mention it when you book, so it's never a surprise.
